Gothic Building Generator
Procedurally generated gothic structures
Inspired by the world of Bloodborne, I made a procedural generator for gothic buildings. It’s a mix of procedural modeling for the main elements like size, spacing and proportion handled with Houdini and modular elements like windows and ornaments modeled with Blender.
Breakdown
Houdini Network
This network is broken down into sections:
- Modeling (procedural)
- Components (pre-modeled)
- UV unwrapping
- Assign materials
Each component of the building runs through the sections:
- Facade
- Corners
- Base
- Roof
